Brilliant restaurant! Food was delicious, atmosphere was fun and lively and the staff were so very friendly and welcoming. A little on the pricier side but food was worth it. Fabulous place, so glad we found it!
During our recent 6-day holiday, we stumbled upon Rare Greek, and it was so good that we ended up dining there twice! This place is a true gem. From the moment we walked in, the chilled-out and comfortable vibe set the tone for an incredible dining experience.
The food was simply outstanding. Everything we tried was full of flavor, but the real standout for us was the chorizo sauce and smoked mash – an absolute must-try! The chorizo sauce and the smoky, creamy mashed potatoes were amazing. They are both one of those sides that stays with you long after you leave.
On top of that, the service was fantastic. The staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome and at home on both visits. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the food and the atmosphere so perfectly, but Rare Greek absolutely delivers on all fronts. We can’t recommend it enough!

We walked past this restaurant and decided to reserve a table for dinner. They were so accommodating and the staff was super friendly. The food was great, too. Later we had to wait in that area for a bus and the gentleman who had welcomed us for dinner earlier in the week invited us inside to sit in the shade while we waited. Overall a great find!

We ate twice at Rare greek. Absolutely loved the fava with prok belly. It is a starter but it should be a main dish. And the steaks are grilled to perfection. For Meatlovers a must stop when in Santorini.
This was our first meal in Santorini and was great. Nice staff, good food, and fair prices.
So kind to accommodate our large family at late notice. Host was extremely friendly and responsive. We felt like treasured family. Delicious food and great Grecian ambiance. We had a lovely time.
We were staying at a nearby hotel and decided to make this our last meal in Santorini. The meatballs and fries were so good, as well as the pita. But the main show was the steak filet. Meat was so tender and flavorful. One of our best meals we had on our trip. The only thing I was disappointed in was that we ordered risotto but it never arrived. The server was beyond apologetic so won’t hold it against them :) would definitely recommend
